In between the garland are “ornaments” of Silver Sequins from the Sequin Trim. The stripe pattern in the Merry Moments Designer Paper makes great “garland” for the tree and some decoration along the sides.

I used Old Olive cardstock for the box and Chocolate Chip for the tree trunk.

Here’s my first project using the Cutie Pie Box Thinlit that I turned into a Christmas Tree box! Wouldn’t this be fun to give someone filled with treats? That does it for me, please come back and visit me again, I enjoy sharing my love of paper crafting with you!! Your next stop on the tour is the blog of one of my bestest Stampin' Friends, Kelly Acheson, I know you will love what she has to share.Woohoo! Supplies: Flowering Fields 141300W or 141303C ( Earn FREE during Sale-a-bration), Grateful Bunch stamp set 140691P, Pool Party Cardstock 122924, Calypso Coral Carstock 122925, Whisper White Carstock 100730, Corrugated Paper 138317, Archival Basic Black Pad 140931, Subtles Stampin' Write Markers (So Saffron, Pear Pizzazz, Pool Party, Calypso Coral) 131263, Brights Stampin' Write Markers (Bermuda Bay) 131259, Pool Party 3/8" Glitter Ribbon 140561, Tear & Tape Adhesive 138995, Curvy Corner Trio Punch 139683, Rhinestone Basic Jewels 119246, Project Life Corner Punch 135346 I also used a couple of our corner punches for the detail in the top right corner and then I added my most used embellishment, the Rhinestone Basic Jewels. The easiest way to add this ribbon is by first running a layer of Tear & Tape Adhesive across your cardstock, remove the paper backing and then gently press the ribbon into place. I again inked the images with our Archival Basic Black pad so I could color the flowers with my Stampin' Write Markers.Ī layer of Kraft Corrugated Paper was used to add some interest and dimension to the card and the strip of Pool Party Glitter Ribbon adds to the sparkle. My second project uses the Flowering Fields Sale-a-bration stamp set. Supplies: Pedal Pusher stamp set 141312P ( Earn FREE during Sale-a-bration), Happy Home stamp set 140500W or 140503C, Thick Whisper White Cardstock 140272, Whisper White Cardstock 100730, Pool Party Cardstock 122924, Pool Party Ink Pad 126982, Archival Basic Black Ink Pad 140931, Subtles Stampin' Write Markers (So Saffron, Pool Party) 131263, So Saffron Pad 126957, Pool Party Pad 126982, 1" Circle Punch 119868, Tree Builder Punch 138295, Sponge Daubers 133773, Metallics Glitter Tape 141020 ( Earn FREE during Sale-a-bration). The sun was created by using the negative image from a 1" Circle Punch, a sponge dauber and So Saffron Ink. I punched a couple of clouds using the Tree Builder Punch and sponged a bit of Pool Party Ink around the edges to make them pop a bit. The bicycle was stamped in our Archival Basic Black so I could color it in with a couple of my Stampin' Write Markers. I started by adding a strip of the NEW Metallics Glitter Tape (item 141020), another recently added Sale-a-bration choice, to the bottom of my main layer. As a demonstrator, I can order things a bit early so I have had my new stuff for a couple of weeks, yay me! This set was added to the Sale-a-bration choices a few days ago. I chose to use one of the newly added FREE items called Pedal Pusher (set comes in photopolymer item #141312). Our tour is all about Sale-a-bration! When you place a $50 order during Sale-a-bration, you earn FREEBIES from the Sale-a-bration Brochure or the recently introduced Sale-a-bration Flyer.
